Work in the great outdoors with Lazy Otter Outfitters in 2024!

Lazy Otter Outfitters has an opportunity for part-time help in our 2024 paddle season going on now!

If you are interested in a part-time (days and weekends) position working outside between May and October, answer a few quick questions and send a resume or summary of relevant experience and we’ll start making plans. Pay starts at $15 per hour, or more for those willing and able to drive the shuttle bus.

Direct experience isn’t necessary but there are a few qualifications. We would prefer someone able and willing to drive a small bus and kayak trailer with passengers for pick-ups and drop-offs, so a clean driving record is needed though NOT a CDL. Also, an important part of the job is communicating Lazy Otter’s emphasis on safety to our customers, so you should be comfortable and enthusiastic about speaking in front of small groups.

If things seem right we’ll talk more about the job and requirements, but if you’d like to be considered please email info@lazyotteroutfitters.com with your interest and answer these questions:

1) Do you have outdoor recreation and/or customer service experience? Please describe it.

2) Are there days or hours you would NOT be able to work during the season (May to October)?

3) How far do you live from Horse Shoe, where Lazy Otter is located, and do you have your own transportation?
